Saskatchewan Seniors Mechanism is experienced in managing complex projects, developing productive partnerships with groups and organizations throughout the province and in developing and implementing community based solutions to problems.

Goals

  • To create awareness of programs and services available to seniors
  • To assist member organizations and others to apply for grants and other funds
  • To facilitate resource sharing among seniors' organizations
  • To act as an advocate on behalf of member organizations on request
  • To establish financial stability and independence
  • To build bridges of understanding and respect among seniors' organizations and among generations
  • To establish and maintain an effective administrative structure and effective processes.
